Welcome to the Barony of Thescorre, located in Rochester, NY. We are a branch of the Society for Creative Anachronism (SCA), an international organization dedicated to researching and recreating pre- 17th century history. For an overview of the SCA go here.
 
Thescorre is located in western upstate New York, and is a part of the Kingdom of Æthelmearc, which covers central & western NY, central & western PA as well as West Virginia.
 
We have many different activities to choose from as you can see from the list below:

To find out when we hold our practices, check our calendar and join us for a practice or meeting. Generally Business and Social meetings, as well as practices, are held in modern clothing and events and demos are in period clothing. On occasion we will hold a meeting in period clothing, but notice is posted on the list in advance in such a case.
