Orianna is one of several children of a minor Anglo-Norman land-holder inEngland. Her family obtained their estate from William the Conqueror as a gift for bravery and leadership in the battle of Hastings in 1066. Her Great-great-grandfather (the third son of a Norman and, thus, with no real prospects at home which is why he was at Hastings to begin with) settled the land and married the daughter of a local Saxon nobleman.
Orianna met and married her husband, Fridrikr (much to the relief of her overburdened family, and much to her own relief since the word Convent had been showing up far too often in conversation), and left her homeland for Gottland. She now lives at Knusslig Hamn, running the estate, raising his children, and attempting to learn the language.
Interests include learning everything Orianna needs to know to be a proper Medieval housewife.
