The drums of war call the warriors to join the Barony of Thescorre as we prepare for battle at our annual Pax Interruptus and to celebrate the investiture by Their Royal Majesties Malcolm and Tessa of the 7th Baron and Baroness, Aquila d’Athos and Bronwen nic Gregor, and bid a fond farewell to Eric and Katja, who have watched over our Barony for the past four years.
Heavy weapons and fencing melees, archery and thrown weapons will commence during the day, and revelry at night will complete the celebrations for our Baron and Baroness and the martial prowess of our Kingdom!
In addition, a torchlight tourney will be held on Friday evening at dusk.
Pax Interruptus XXXIV will be held July 9-11 at the Genesee Country Campground, 40 Flint Hill Rd, Caledonia, NY, 14423.
The site opens at 3 pm on Friday and closes at noon on Sunday.
It is discreetly damp, and dogs are allowed on leashes with proof of vaccinations, as long as they are cleaned up after. Open flames are also allowed, and fires can be built in the designated areas of the campground.
Please alert the head cook, Lady Adren cu Faol, to any allergies or food restrictions. She may be reached at (contact info removed after event). The feast will be capped at 120. She will also be providing snacks on the field during the day.

The Off-board fee is $7, On-board is $13, and tent camping is an additional $6 per night. Children 4-18 are off-board $3.50, on-board $9.50, and camping is an additional $3 per night. Children under 4 are free. A non-member-surcharge of $5 will be taken at the door. There is a family cap of $75 which includes on-board fee and two nights of camping.

Directions:From Rochester: take I490 West to Exit 1, (LeRoy). *Follow the signs for Rt. 19 South to LeRoy. After approximately 4.5 miles, turn left onto Rt. 5 East at the light in LeRoy. Go east on Rt. 5 for about 4.1 miles and watch for the sign for the Lime Rock Speedway and Genesee Country Campground on the left. Turn left onto Flint Hill Road. **The campground will be on the left after approximately 1/2 mile. Do not turn into the main campground entrance - turn into the entrance marked with the SCA sign. SCA signs will be posted.
From the East, West, or Southwest: take your best route to the New York State Thruway Exit 47, LeRoy/Rochester. A ¼ mile after the tollbooths, take Exit 1 (LeRoy). Follow the directions above from *.
From the South or Southeast: take I390 North to Exit 10 (Avon). At the end of the exit ramp, turn left onto Rts. 5 & 20 West. Follow 5 & 20 West through the village of Avon (follow the signs around the traffic circle and stay on 5 & 20). Just outside of Avon at a blinking light, Rt. 20 splits off Rt. 5-stay to the right on Rt. 5 West. Follow Rt. 5 West through the village of Caledonia and around the traffic circle. After you cross the railroad tracks, go about 1.3 miles to the sign for the Lime Rock Speedway and Genesee County Campground on your right. Turn right onto Flint Hill Road.
