SCA archery does not use compound bows, sights or stabilizers. We do shoot traditional archery with recurves, longbows and crossbows. Unlike armored combat and fencing, SCA archery has no age limits. If you are new to archery, we will teach you how to shoot. Loaner equipment is available for anyone who wants to try it out. Archery Practice is happening on Sundays @ RIT. Time: 11:00 AM Directions: Take your best route to the RIT campus on Jefferson Rd. From the main entrance/loop go to the traffic circle and turn left – ¾ way around. Proceed ~100 ft. to the first lot on your left to park (Lot N) From Lot N walk north towards Jefferson Rd. (between the two soccer fields) The range is just beyond the short line of trees on the small rise. Walk around them to the left so you approach from *behind* the firing line.
